ANIMATION NCII
This is an introductory and specialization course which leads to an Animation National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies (PECs); Environment and Market; five (5) Common Competencies; and one (1) Core Competency that a high school student ought to possess to produce clean-up and in-between drawings
The preliminaries of this specialization course include the following: 1) discussion on the relevance of the course; 2) explanation of key concepts of common competencies; 3) explanation of core competencies relative to the course; and 4) exploration of career opportunities.
Earth and Life Science
This learning area is designed to provide a general background for the understanding of Earth Science and Biology. It presents the history of
the Earth through geologic time. It discusses the Earth’s structure, composition, and processes. Issues, concerns, and problems pertaining to natural hazards are also
included. It also deals with the basic principles and processes in the study of biology. It covers life processes and interactions at the cellular, organism, population, and
ecosystem levels.
Statistics and Probability
The course will provide the students a firm foundations of general principles in statistics and probability, they will be able to apply them to any researches they are going to pursue. This is intended to help to learn the rudiments of research. The presentation of each lesson is simplified and procedures are explained step-by-step. Numerous examples are provided to concretized concepts , application of formulas and interpretation of collected data.
Health-Optimizing Physical Education II
Physical Education and Health offers experiential learning for learners to adopt an active life for fitness and lifelong health. The knowledge, skills and understanding which include physical and health literacy competencies support them in accessing, synthesizing and evaluating information; making informed decisions; enhancing and advocating their own as well as others’ fitness and health.
Statistics and Probability
Statistics is the science concerned with developing and studying methods for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting empirical data. Statistics is a highly interdisciplinary field; research in statistics finds applicability in virtually all scientific fields and research questions in the various scientific fields motivate the development of new statistical methods and theories. In developing methods and studying the theory that underlies the methods statisticians draw on a variety of mathematical and computational tools. Probability is a mathematical language used to discuss uncertain events and probability plays a key role in statistics. Any measurement or data collection effort is subject to a number of sources of variation. By this, we mean that if the same measurement were repeated, then the answer would likely change. Statisticians attempt to understand and control (where possible) the sources of variation in any situation.
Pagbasa at Pagsusuri ng Iba't ibang Teksto Tungo sa Pananaliksik
Pag-aaral sa proseso ng pagbasa at pagsusuri ng iba’t ibang anyo at uri ng teksto na nakatutulong sa pagbuo at pagsulat ng sistematikong
pananaliksik.
Reading and Writings Skills
The development of reading and writing skills as applied to a wide range of materials other than poetry, fiction and drama
Empowerment Technology
Information and communication technologies as a tool for creating, contextualising, collaborating, and creating content and experiences for learning in the professional tracks.
Electrical Installation and Maintenance 11
The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and systems where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts in residential houses/buildings.
Statistics and Probability
In this course, the students will be able to know how to find the mean and variance of a random variable, apply sampling techniques and
distributions, estimate population mean and proportion, perform hypothesis testing on population mean and proportion, and perform correlation and regression
analyses on real-life problems.
BUSINESS FINANCE
This course deals with the fundamental principles, tools, and techniques of the financial operation involved in the management of business
enterprises. It covers the basic framework and tools for financial analysis and financial planning and control and introduces basic concepts and principles needed in making
investment and financing decisions. Introduction to investments and personal finance are also covered in the course. Using the dual-learning approach of theory and
application, each chapter and module engages the learners to explore all stages of the learning process from knowledge, analysis, evaluation, and application to preparation
and development of financial plans and programs suited for a small business.
Personal Development HUMSS 1101 - 1104
